US Army Reveals Extent of Damage to DC Streets After Trump’s Military Parade

Date:

Washington D.C. – June 27, 2025

The US Army has released a detailed assessment of the damage caused to Washington D.C.’s streets following a recent military parade held in honor of former President Donald Trump’s event. According to the report, the streets suffered significant wear and tear, with estimated repair costs running into millions of dollars.

The parade, which featured a display of military hardware and personnel, was touted by the White House as a massive success, with claims of hundreds of thousands of attendees. However, Pentagon officials have now revealed that the actual attendance figures were significantly lower than initially stated.

“We’re working to restore the infrastructure and get the streets back to normal,” said a US Army spokesperson. “The damage was more extensive than anticipated, and we’re looking at ways to prevent similar incidents in the future.”

The discrepancy in attendance figures has raised questions about the event’s overall impact and value for money. While the White House initially claimed over 700,000 people attended the parade, Pentagon officials estimate the actual number was closer to 300,000.

The revelations are likely to fuel further debate about the use of military resources for political events and the accuracy of official statements. As the city begins the process of repairing the damaged streets, officials are also reviewing the logistics and planning of future events to minimize the impact on local infrastructure.
