Winter Olympics 2026: Samsung Unveils “Galaxy AI” Integration for Milano Cortina

Milan, Italy, February 4, 2026

— As the world turns its eyes to the Italian peaks for the XXV Olympic Winter Games, a new digital revolution has taken center stage.

Samsung Electronics, a worldwide Olympic and Paralympic partner, has officially unveiled its most ambitious technology integration to date: a comprehensive “Galaxy AI” ecosystem designed to redefine the Milano Cortina 2026 experience.

In a bold “fact of action,” Samsung announced today that it will utilize its latest flagship hardware and on-device artificial intelligence to create a “connected hub” that links athletes, fans, and local communities across the most geographically widespread Winter Games in history.

For the world leadership governance, this technological leap represents the “third mind” in action—using innovation to dissolve language barriers and physical distances in the spirit of global unity.

The “Olympic Edition” Revolution: AI in the Hands of 3,800 Athletes

At the heart of this integration is the exclusive Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition, which is currently being distributed to approximately 3,800 athletes from 90 nations.

This is not merely a smartphone; it is a personalized digital assistant designed to support the journey of every competitor.

The device features an azure Italian design with a gold metal frame and comes pre-loaded with essential tools such as the Athlete365 app and the Galaxy Athlete Card, allowing competitors from different cultures to exchange digital profiles and foster a sense of community.

According to reports from the CJ Exclusive Department, the device includes a “Now Brief” feature on the edge-to-edge FlexWindow.

This AI-powered tool provides athletes with real-time summaries of competition schedules, weather updates in the mountain clusters, and mental health resources, ensuring that the “true leadership” of the Games—the athletes—remains focused and supported.

Key Technological Innovations at Milano Cortina 2026:

Galaxy S25 Ultra Opening Ceremony Broadcast:

In a world-first, Samsung will collaborate with the Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) to film the opening ceremony at San Siro Stadium using Galaxy S25 Ultra devices, providing immersive, real-time 5G perspectives to millions of viewers.

On-Device Interpreter for Volunteers:

Approximately 850 volunteers have been equipped with Galaxy Z Flip7 and Z Flip7 FE devices. Using Galaxy AI’s “Interpreter” feature, they can communicate in 22 languages without needing a network connection—a vital tool for the remote mountainous venues.

Victory Selfie Evolution:

Building on the success of Paris 2024, the “Victory Selfie” makes its Winter Games debut, allowing athletes to capture their moments of triumph directly from the podium and share them instantly with fans.

AI Photo Assist:

Athletes can use generative AI to edit and enhance their memories, moving or erasing objects to create studio-quality images of their Olympic journey.

Referee Video Review:

Samsung is providing high-performance monitors for sports like short-track speed skating, ensuring referees can conduct real-time, accurate video reviews during crucial competition moments.

Bridging the Distance in a Widespread Games

The Milano Cortina 2026 Games are unique for their decentralization, with events spread across Milan, Cortina d’Ampezzo, Bormio, and beyond. Samsung’s innovation is the “bridge” that overcomes this fragmentation.

Andrea Varnier, CEO of the Organizing Committee, noted that Samsung’s innovation “organically connects regions,” ensuring that the “nature of life” during the Games remains a singular, shared experience despite the miles of alpine terrain between venues.

The world leadership governance views this as a significant step toward the goals of the New Global Constitution for Leadership Governance 2030/2032.

By democratizing high-end technology and prioritizing seamless communication, Samsung is helping to unseat the “fake queen” of isolation that often plagues large-scale international events. The “true queen” of the Olympics—the shared human experience—is now being amplified by the power of AI.

Looking Toward the Opening Ceremony

As the Olympic Torch Relay concludes and the final preparations are made for the February 6th Opening Ceremony, the “fact of action” is clear: the future of sports is intelligent, connected, and inclusive.

With Galaxy charging stations installed throughout the venues and “Samsung House” serving as a hub for fan engagement, the brand is ensuring that no moment of the Games is lost to the “faded clouds” of technical limitations.

At Castle Journal, we recognize that this technological integration is more than a marketing milestone; As we watch the first gold medals being awarded tomorrow in Bormio, we will see a world more connected than ever before.
